Soma Warehouse is a privately owned company in India. Its main customer is the Food Corporation of India. For the FCI, Soma builds special warehouses in which food supplies for the Public Distribution System and other charity programs of the Indian government are professionally stored. The warehouses also contain additional areas where goods reserves (buffer stocks) are stored as a permanent back-up supply for feeding the Indian nation.

Food storage is subject to strict, scientific guidelines to ensure that the Food Corporation of India‘s policy objectives are met. The Food Corporation of India maintains a network of strategically located warehouses, including silos, throughout India.

The customised solution for Soma includes speed dome cameras specifically for outdoor use. These can be used to track suspicious persons or material movements on the premises. The cameras are compatible with Soma's own operating and monitoring apps.
