Art Gallery Singen - Protection of modern ans contemporary art from the region around Lake Constance and the German southwest
In its spacious exhibition rooms, the museum presents regularly changing exhibitions on a specific theme or on individual artists. These premises offer excellent conditions for the presentation of all genres - from painting, drawing, prints, photography, sculpture and plastic art, object art, installation, space-related action and video art.
The project
With approximately 1000 square meters of visitor and exhibition space, it is one of the largest municipal art museums on the German side of Lake Constance. A dynamic of its own can be found here: Up to five times a year, the exhibits are being changed and the exhibition area spatially altered by movable partitions. For this reason, all cameras are mounted on the cable trays with magnets. Thus, Geutebrück simply follows the exhibits and adapts to the changing light conditions.
