CLAAS Service and Parts Logistics Center - Video surveillance and process documentation
Innovative solution: Prevention and investigation of crimes through permanent video surveillance of all movements in relevant security areas of the claas logistics center as well as general process monitoring.
The project
The Claas Parts Logistics Center in Hamm-Uentrop supplies CLAAS customers worldwide with spare parts since 1999. In cooperation with the logistics specialist Stute (now Kühne & Nagel Group), a modern logistics center was built and adapted to the growing tasks in several steps. Today, 200,000 articles are permanently available on 145,000 m² of storage space. CLAAS and Kühne & Nagel supply customers with spare parts for agricultural machinery from the highly automated logistics center, which operates 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, in the fastest possible way - by air freight, truck or cab.
